The Smallest Kazakh.

In 1947, during a visit to the United Kingdom, Kanysh Satbayev met Winston Churchill.

Looking at the tall Kazakh scientist, Churchill asked:

“Are all Kazakhs as tall as you?”

Satbayev replied:

“Among Kazakhs, I am probably the smallest. My people are greater than I am.”

He wasn’t talking about height. He was talking about humility.
